“Naledi” means “star” in Botswana. The name comes from the star-shaped
pattern woven through the table top with telephone wires. This detail was
inspired by the technique employed by South African basket weavers.

Carlos Motta, a Brazilian furniture designer, is known for working with
demolition residue and reclaimed wood. The Havaianas chair is made
from freijo wood covered in rubber used in flip flops.
